We did this at one time. I don't remember all the details, but here are the general steps.

I exported the issn into one column of the spreadsheet.
I had set up the spreadsheet with all of the URL except the ISSN appearing as permanent text in a column.
Then I used Excel's concatenate function to merge into a single column the base URL plus the ISSN

Since not all the records had ISSNs, I had sorted the spreadsheet by ISSN first, so all the non-ISSNs were together. I then changed the concatenate formula to merge the base URL with the 245 title for those cases. You may need to check with Serials Solutions first. I think our library asked them specifically to allow title links for those records without ISSNs.

Subject: [IUG] exporting with URL for Serials Solutions

Hi - We are a new user of Serials Solutions. To construct our A-Z list including print holdings, I need to get a spreadsheet which includes a column containing the URL to access the catalog record for each of our titles. Does anyone have suggestions as to how to do this?

Thanks, Gwen
