Hello,
We here at Multnomah County Library Acquisitions use Quick Click with
Midwest Tape AV materials. We have three accounts, Music CD's which
arrive processed and catalogued, DVD's and Non-Processed Account. All
the AV titles import and will match as overlaid titles on any UPC
duplications it finds. This eliminates any unwanted duplicates, but
also allows us to attach orders to the correct titles when we wish to
order more copies of a title.
Quick Click has separate load table settings, and I'm sure our IT
would help answer if you need help with that.
We are VERY happy with this product! For years we've downloaded
carts of titles from Ingram and other vendors and used Millennium
DataExchange to bring the files in. However, with Quick Click the
entire Data Exchange process is eliminated. It is indeed 'one step'.
We use blanket PO's for batch files, so this too is set to auto populate
each title upon import, along with correct format, vendor accounts,
price and of course all the bibliographic data. Very slick and nice.
If you have specific questions around any of the pieces, please feel
free to ask.
Next week Ingram Library Services will Web-Ex in to watch my import
of a cart of Midwest Tape AV. They plan to have this available January
2009.

Subject: [IUG] Anyone using Quick Click?
Hi there
We have just started to use Innovative's Quick Click with Coutts in the
UK, and the development work means that all global Coutts users will now
have access to it (in short, ordering without placing manual orders).
Is anyone else using it with any other supplier? I'm interested to know
other suppliers, and get a feel for how many customers globally are
using it.
Thanks,
Mandy
