In June our item record numbers rolled over as follows:

from i99999997  to i100000009

NOTE: the record number went from a total of 8 digits to a total of 9 digits 
(including the check digit)

The rollover was completely seamless. We did not have to do anything at our 
end, other than alerting library staff that item record numbers would now be 
1 digit longer for new records..

So, no, numbering did not start over.
