All image files used in the template must reside in the same local
workstation directory as the template created with the template editing
application (the jrxml file) and must be imported along with the
template. Further, only the name of the image file can appear in the
template. Do not include the full path (e.g., you should enter
"StateSeal.jpg" rather than "C:\iReport\work\StateSeal.jpg").

It foxed me for a bit because I did not import the image again (as I was
using the default image and just changing the wording) - I think I got
the same error message. Since re-importing the image I have managed to
print from print templates using different pc's and different logins.
