Alan,
I just tried this using milcat and milser. You are correct that it
doesn't retain the data in milcat. It does however still work in milser.
We are on Rel. 2007

We are using release 2007 and our cataloging staff has
reported what they believe is a change in functionality. When
copying an item record it used to carry over existing IType and
location codes. In Release 2007, "copying an item record" seems to
work like "attach an item" where it starts with what ever item
default template was set for that login. Can anybody confirm this
change? Does it sound like a glitch?
