Two options come to mind:
1) Write a macro to strip the commas and then export
2) Have the load table strip that out
The load table route is the better solution -- load tables can be used
to perform pretty sophisticated manipulations on fields. If your
institution has had load table training and you send this question to
the load profilers list, I'm sure you'll have a solution quickly.
