San Diego County Library is looking for enthusiastic, energetic and

opened two new branches with cutting-edge technology.
We are currently seeking applications for our Librarian Technician IV
position in Cataloging. This position is full-time and is located at Library
Headquarters. Under the direction of the Principal Librarian for Technical
Services, incumbents in this position are responsible for helping to
supervise the cataloging and processing of materials in all formats.
Incumbents also recommend projects and plans to provide access to library
materials (through cataloging and physical processing of materials) and to
use SDCL and industry resources effectively.
Examples of qualifying education/experience are:
Five (5) years of recent library work experience, three (3) years of which
must have included primary supervisory and management work experience or
progressively responsible work in a specialized field of library services in
a library system comparable to the County of San Diego.
Note: A Library Technology certificate or an associate's degree in Library
Science is desirable.
