Laurie,
You were seeing dreamweaver's helper inserts for "invisible elements. You can set these at CTRL + U or edit.menu.preferences.invisible Elements. Tokens are HTML comments so tick off that comment box. I do not think it would be possible to show the actual results, as Dreamweaver does not normally interpret HTML comments as server side code, but someone else may correct me.

I have recently changed versions of Dreamweaver (I now have Dreamweaver mx
2004). In my older version I was able to see the placeholders for the
tokens used in the OPAC when viewing the design mode. They displayed as
small yellow shields with an exclamation mark. In the 2004 edition they are
not being shown. Does anyone know how I might get this to show, or even
better to display what would actually be there?
