- Subject: Re: [IUG] bib_display file? Possible reason - Need to load the bib_display file into directory
Hi Vicki,
We upgraded to Pro recently too. I checked my live directory and I don't think I have a file for bib_display either. When I view the page source, it say default bib_display. I can't access the page directly using
http://library.alliant.edu/screens/bib_display.html. I don't think is exists.
In my screens directory, I have a bib_display.html file that I have been editing. I've made many changes. I can access it directly by typing
http://library.alliant.edu:2082/screens/bib_display.html.
The difference between the two directories is that I have WebOpac 2006 in the live and WebPac Pro 2006 in the staging. I loaded in the example set from CSDirect which included the bib_display.html file.
My thought (and there are people on this list with greater experience) is that you need to load a bib_display file in your directory in order to be able to modify it. I think since the page is showing the default when looking at the code is the key to this. I did look up Chapel Hill Public Library and the live bib_display shows default bib_display like my live one.
You have such nice looking pages. I'm sure that someone else will be able to tell you how to fix this and keep your great looking page!

Subject: [IUG] bib_display file?
Hello,
We have just upgraded to Pro. Almost everything is fine, except it
looks like I need to make a small tweak to the bib_display.html file.
If I look at the 'page source' where we're having a small display
problem, I see from the comments that it's pulling code from bib_display.
However, if I get into Millenium Webmaster, there is no bib_display.html
file listed in either Live or Staging screens area. Does anyone have
any idea why it's not showing up in the screens list?
Thanks! Vicki Hain
