Hi Everyone,
At Ryerson we have our time to reshelve set to n96:00 so that the in
our full display the OPAC status is "in processing" for 4 days after a
new item record is linked to a bibliographic record.
Recently we began batchloading bibs and items for our approval books,
with an item status of "approval". When the book is ready to go, staff
change the status to available, and the OPAC display says "available"
immediately since the records have been in the catalogue for more than 4
days.
Ideally we'd like the same behavior as when we create a brand new item
... a status of "in processing" in the OPAC for a few days.
Does anyone else batchload items for approval books? Or have a
scenario where they use an item status that automatically changes in
this way?
