Mia: Great to see your name here! I searched through my Helpful Hints
folder and came up with the following. I hope it is what you're looking
for! Kind regards and have a SUPER day! Eeva

We haven't replaced the status, but we do add a "Request it" link next
to the status using javascript. The js suppresses the link next to
each
item if that item is not requestable or if it has a status of MISSING.

Here's an example:

I haven't looked at the script in awhile; let me know if you're
interested and I can send the info you'll need.

Frustratingly, I can't find this in the list archives, though I'm sure
it was discussed fairly recently!

I'm looking for ways and means/examples of WebPacs that have made their
item STATUS field clickable from the WebPAC, in order to show the user
an explanation of the status code. Either the link brings user to a
static page explaining status code meanings; or it could be something
more interactive.

i.e., when displaying a record user clicks on the item record's STATUS
label (e.g., "MISSING"; or "IN LIBRARY") to get to an explanatory page.

Thanks muchly.
