Our circ people reported the same intermittent issue to me as well. We are using the latest client (milup150_12). The problem seems to occur most often when staff are editing/creating patron records. We haven't had any issues with login's freezing up yet.
One of our staff said we haven't had the problem recently. It seems like it could be an issue with the java? I guess if it continues we will have to downgrade ME :)
