Phil,
We recently changed our time to pickup in loan rules, with no problems.

I know that in general you should make new loan rules rather than

anyone know if it's necessary to do this when you change the "time to
pickup"?
The only bad effect I can think of would be that maybe things already on
the hold shelf would have their "hold until" date changed, which would
be bad if the new date was sooner than we had told the patron. Does
anyone know if this would happen, or if anything else bad might be
caused by such a change?
The reason I want to change the "time to pickup" is, I understand that
Teleforms will combine hold pickup notices into one call even if they
have different hold-until dates, with the result that it might give the
patron a hold-until date that does not apply to all items in the call.
We're going to be implementing Teleforms soon, and currently we have
different times to pickup for different kinds of things, so we want to
make them all the same so Teleforms will always give the right pickup date.
