If you are overlaying patron records, and neglect to protect the barcode
field, that would wipe out existing barcodes in your system on any
record that gets overlaid. Check your patron load table.

Subject: [IUG] Disappearing patron barcodes
Help! A patron load of student records was done and the barcodes have
disappeared. The barcodes aren't one of the items present in the loads,
but we
think it was something to do with the recent load since the barcodes
disappeared at that time.
I've looked in the FAQ's and list archives but haven't found anything
yet?
I've opened a call with the help desk as well. Anyone have an idea of
what
happened and how to fix it?
TIA,
Kimberly
