I should also mention I have just verified that this works in Windows 2000 as well.

Subject: Receipt Printers w/Millennium, PAC and Windows

Dear Innovative Users,

I know some of you have been trying to get your receipt printers to work with Millennium, PAC, and with Windows, specifically in terms of getting the printer's auto-cutter (if so equipped) working.

I've had some success in getting our own printer auto-cutters working under Windows NT, so I am including some instructions here if you would like to give it a try:

-In Windows, add the receipt printer via the “add printer” dialogue. Set it as the default printer.

-In Windows, access the printer properties dialogue box. For the “Print Processor” option, set (for Winprint) the default data type either to TEXT, or to RAW (FF appended or auto, but not just plain "RAW"). Save and exit.

-If printing from PAC, set the print setting (from the "File" menu) in ANZIO PAC to “low”.

I'm using a Star TSP200-24 thermal receipt printer and the above worked.

Hope that helps any who need it. If anyone has more specific questions, please feel free to e-mail me directly.

Regards,
