Senior Reference Librarian and Circulation Supervisor
Library Services, Athabasca University

The Senior Reference Librarian and Circulation Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of AU Library’s Information Desk services, including the direct supervision of 4.5 library circulation staff, and administering the Library’s call tracking system. The incumbent provides reference and library instruction services to the various users of AU Library (primarily faculty, staff and students) and promotes awareness of AU Library services and resources. The successful candidate must have a MLS from an ALA-accredited library school or equivalent, and a minimum five years’ experience in the provision of reference and instructional services, preferably in an academic library (equaling a minimum of eleven years education and experience). All educational credentials must be recognized in Canada.

This permanent AUFA professional appointment, located in Athabasca, AB, is offered at a salary range of $66,059.00 to $84,694.00 per annum and is supplemented by a generous benefits package.
