The University of Maine and the Maine State Library seek an executive program leader to develop, direct, and manage this statewide library information program which is a partnership of public, academic, school, and special libraries throughout the state. Maine InfoNet is an organization jointly administered by the Maine Library Commission and the University of Maine System. The mission of Maine InfoNet is to broaden statewide sources of information and educational resources for all Maine citizens and to serve as an information portal that promotes resource-sharing, provides cost-effective solutions for the improvement of the quality of library and information services, and supports the economic development of the State. Maine InfoNet comprises three major programs: an operational statewide union catalog; a resource-sharing system; and provision of electronic resources. Maine InfoNet Executive Director will report to the Maine State Librarian and the Dean of Libraries, UM as the designated representatives of the Vice Chancellor for Academic and Student Affairs. Maine InfoNet Executive Director will serve under the advice and direction of the Maine InfoNet Board, which is sponsored jointly by the Maine Library Commission and University of Maine System.

Position: E-Learning Librarian

Reports to: Coordinator for Outreach and the Associate Dean

Provide leadership and support for both e-learning initiatives and library services, including the design and development of library-related digital learning objects and web-based guides; and collaborate with faculty in the integration of library-related instructional tools and learning objects into the curriculum and the university’s course management system. This position may also include some collection development responsibilities.

The Florida Coastal School of Law Library & Technology Center (LTC) is seeking knowledgeable, service-oriented applicants for the position of Acquisitions Librarian. The LTC provides access to approximately 220,400 volumes and volume-equivalents in a variety of print and non-print formats, and has an acquisitions budget of over $1,114,000. Central College seeks a service-oriented, creative Technical Services Librarian to join a collaborative environment and facilitate access to library collections in an outstanding liberal arts college library. This is a 12-month, tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor. The Librarian has primary responsibility for management of an integrated library system shared with the Pella Public Library and cataloging of all materials. The Librarian will supervise copy cataloging and materials processing and perform complex cataloging of monographs, serials, audiovisual materials, electronic resources and special collections. The Librarian is also responsible for administration of a proxy server, link resolver, and related technology.

All librarians share responsibilities for reference, instruction, and collection maintenance. The position includes some evening and weekend reference hours.

Assistant Library Director
The North Bend Public Library is recruiting for a friendly, enthusiastic, and creative Assistant Library Director. This position manages the day-to-day operations of the library, working with the staff and volunteers to deliver excellent library services to the public.

The library has stable funding through the Coos County Library Service District. There are eight public libraries in the district. The library is located on thebeautiful southern Oregon coast, minutes away from the ocean, public beaches and outstanding parks. North Bend is about two hours from Eugene, home of the University of Oregon.
