Position: Reference and Network Librarian
Location: Beloit Public Library is a mid-sized public library located along the Rock River on the WI/IL border. Conveniently located to Milwaukee, Madison, and Chicago, Beloit, WI is the home of Beloit College, a four-year liberal arts college. We are in the midst of plans to relocate the library to a remodeled facility which will more than double our space.
Description: We are seeking an enthusiastic, flexible and tech-savvy librarian to join our Adult Services Department. This position provides general reference service, oversees and troubleshoots the library’s computer network and PCs, and aids in collection development.
Requirements: An ALA accredited MLS/MIS, ability in providing reference services to all ages in all formats, and knowledge of computer networks and PCs. Must be able to work independently and in a team environment.
Position is full time including some nights and weekends. Reports to the Head of Adult Services.
Salary: Range is $40,000-$48,000 depending on experience and credentials. Excellent benefits package. Position open until filled.
