Electronic Services and Systems Librarian
Western Theological Seminary / Holland, Michigan
Job responsibilities include:
management within the seminary of the automated library system and any other software shared with the Hope College Libraries, serving as a liaison with the Hope College Libraries systems librarian, implementing new electronic resources and services to support the seminary’s programs, management of the Beardslee Library section of the seminary website, serving as Beardslee Library liaison with students in the Distance Learning M.Div. program, working with the director to provide training for faculty and students in using electronic resources, and developing library uses for the seminary’s course management software.
Qualifications:
ALA accredited degree in library or information science
Experience with automated library systems (Innovative Interfaces preferred), network management, course management software, website development and maintenance, Ereserve and Ejournal management, MS Office Strong service orientation
Strong interpersonal skills
Theological training (M.A.or M.Div.) desirable
This is a professional position supervised by the Associate Director of Beardslee Library.
