Job Title: Acquisitions and Cataloging Librarian
Start Date: September 1st 2007
Job Summary: This position is responsible for all aspects of monograph acquisitions and also for assisting with cataloguing for the Montgomery Library of Westminster Theological Seminary.
Qualifications:
Required
* Master’s Degree in Library Science or Information Studies from an ALA-accredited institution.
* Knowledge of AACR2, Library of Congress classification, and OCLC.
* Demonstrated ability to work with automated Library systems.
* Commitment to the mission of Westminster Theological Seminary.
Desirable:
* Experience working with Innovative Interfaces Millennium Library System would be an asset.* Academic background in theological and Biblical studies would be an asset.
* Working knowledge of foreign languages, particularly Chinese, Japanese and Korean, would be considered an asset.
