Technical Services Librarian
- catalog and maintain professional standards for bibliographic and authority records
- maintain collection statistics
- train and assist staff on cataloging and bibliographic problem solving
- assist with the coordination of the IRC’s use of a shared Innovative Interfaces, Inc.(III) Millennium integrated library system
- participate in short- and long-range planning for the IRC
- assist in creating and implementing library policies and procedures
- assist with collection development
- assist with the development and coordination of a law school archives collection
- may participate in reference duties
- monitors and keeps abreast of changes and trends in bibliographic and MARC standards
- may supervise staff as assigned
- performs other duties as assigned

Required:
- M.L.S., M.L.I.S., or equivalent from an ALA-accredited school
- Cataloging experience
- High quality communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Self-starter who is able to meet tight time deadlines
- Able to work well in a team environment
Preferred:
- Dual degrees (both M.L.S. (or equivalent) and J.D. degrees)
- Cataloging experience with legal materials
- Supervisory experienceExperience with Innovative Millennium integrated library system
- Familiarity with a Technical Services environment that included Acquisitions and/or Serials
