Digital Research Technology Specialist (Colorado State University Libraries, Fort Collins, Colorado)

Responsibilities: This new position develops scripts and programs that support emerging technologies for the Colorado State University Libraries. The specialist will support a variety of library technology projects, including the implementation of repository databases and image management.

Required Qualifications: Bachelors or advanced degree in Computer Science or related field. Proficient in one or more current programming languages. Demonstrated willingness to work in a variety of programming environments. Proficient in one or more current database packages.  Excellent collaboration skills. Ability to work independently
as well as within a team environment. Excellent analytic and problem-solving skills. Strong interpersonal skills and clear written communication skills. Demonstration of pursuit of professional growth and development. Desired:  Proficiency C#, VB, or PHP.
