Webmaster/Cataloger (Wisconsin State Law Library) 

The Wisconsin State Law Library http://wsll.state.wi.us/ is recruiting
for a Webmaster/Cataloger.

RESPONSIBILITIES:  The selected individual will design and maintain the
library’s website; provide effective bibliographic access to all library
materials, including online and digital collections; provide research
assistance to library users; develop and teach classes; and contribute
to library publications.

LOCATION:  Madison, WI.

SALARY:  Salary is $42,222 annually with excellent state benefits. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:  The selected individual will design and maintain the
library’s website; provide effective bibliographic access to all library
materials, including online and digital collections; provide research
assistance to library users; develop and teach classes; and contribute
to library publications.

QUALIFICATIONS:  Required:(1) Demonstrated experience designing and
maintaining a website, working knowledge of web development tools,
including HTML and CSS; (2) Practical experience cataloging and
classifying library materials; (3) Experience in creating and
maintaining records for an integrated library catalog system; (4)
Practical reference experience; (5) Graduate library science coursework
related to the provision of reference, cataloging and classification.
Candidates with (1) a MLS; (2) experience designing and maintaining a
library website; (3) working knowledge of the integrated online
(Innovative Interfaces) library system; (4) experience with legal
research materials, including Westlaw and Lexis are preferred.
